Use the extension to detect Meet calls for desktop recording
Added extension-assisted Google Meet call detection for opt-in recording in the desktop app, with clearer setup and connection guidance.
Automatic capture still required opt-in and a supported connection. Enabling it did not provide meeting participants’ consent.
Choose Live or Test integration labels
Added Live and Test labels when creating API keys and webhook endpoints.
Test keys used the same workspace data, and Test webhook endpoints received real events. Test was a label for your consumers, not a separate sandbox.
Access recording media through MCP
Added a permission-checked MCP tool for short-lived access to recording audio or a composed recording.
The required scope and recording permissions still applied, and an access link could expire.
Keep usable audio when the main recording is unavailable
Added recovery that could make a notetaker recording available as audio when its main recording was unusable.
Recovery depended on usable audio already captured. Attempts without usable media could still fail.
Retry a supported local save
Added local-save recovery guidance and Retry local save for supported desktop recordings.
Some attempts could not be restored automatically, and an uncertain completion did not confirm that the recording was saved.
Show a retryable failure for stalled uploads
Improved stalled desktop transfers so they could show a retryable failure instead of remaining active indefinitely.
Count transcribed hours by meeting
Corrected inflated workspace transcribed-hour totals for affected meetings.
Reduce missing or misplaced translated text
Improved translated transcripts affected by missing text or text appearing under the wrong passage.
